According to @Schroedc that doesn't work so good Neil.

One can only assume that since heat is its nemesis, it doesn't fare well cooking the resin off. But, you'd have to ask Colin what happened there.

I would also assume, given its density, that it doesn't soak up resin well.

Took very little resin, split all to heck in the oven.
