Wood spheres WTB or Trade

Any one here make wood spheres? I am looking for about 6-3” or 5-4” spheres for a wood bowl I have. Species I would prefer to have native with a mixture of light and dark woods. I would also be open to a few laminated ones as well. I will do the finishing on them, just need them turned since I don’t have a jig. Let me know if you can make them and your price. I am also open to trading for them as well. I make lots of stuff, Wood, or turning kits.

You don’t need a jig, Mike. Lots of ways to turn a sphere without one. Here is one way:

I agree, making your own cups for sphere turning is pretty simple and once you get started you cant stop making them... No one makes them perfect, there is always a little variation, and the wood will move after turning as well, but you really can't see it with the naked eye...

@Bean_counter , I found some jigs on Rubber Chucky. Haven’t been successful yet, but they were reasonable if I remember right (which I don’t promise).
