It actually does and the loggers I know puts this in the kiln after air drying it on stickers in order to minimize movement, checking and splits. It is prone to sneaky hairline checks and because it is slightly on the dense & brittle end, after processing (surfacing) and as it sits, those checks will appear all of the sudden.Nice! Gonna make table tops? I'm surprised how pale it looks, it must oxidize and darken as it dries.....
