Pretty neat accompanying sound effects and a few times just about sounded as good as some folks I have heard give singing a go...
Parrots are so cool. We had two Double-yellow headed Amazon parrots when we lived in Panama. Jethro - the first one we got, talked a lot. If someone knocked on the door (or under the table top) he'd yell "Come in". If he saw you knock, he wouldn't yell. He loved peanut butter and would hold a spoon in one talon and lick the peanut butter off. And he loved to chew on a chicken drumstick bone. He'd yell "Shut up" when our dachshund would bark too much. And he'd say "Hello pretty bird" when he wanted something. He'd start real soft and quiet and slowly get louder and louder until you paid attention to him.
My daughter had a cockatiel in Australia and that bird could whistle the tune from Andy of Mayberry and it sounded just like the TV.

Ran a bar in mid 20s on St. Joe river. No where idaho then. A guy had a Magpie that could teach a sailor new cusswords. Damn would fly around and cuss at the customers.
