Just saw that Glenn Frey form The Eagles passed away today at age 68. I was fortunate enough to see him live with The Eagles during the Hell Freezes over tour.

Godspeed, Glen Frey....and thanks for soaring with the Eagles for all those years. Sure am glad that hell froze over, or I'da never had a chance to see you play. Loosing too many good musicians here lately......

Oh man. I saw them at the rose bowl in cali on the hell freezes over tour too. I actually welded up the burned out city back drop for that show.
RiP Man....

What a crappy way to start this year....too many good peeps passing away...

I was curiously never a huge Eagles fan for some reason. I liked a handful of their songs, but I never did really meld with their music for some reason - and it doesn't really make much sense because it's good music. Still sad to see him go.

I agree Kevin, I was never an Eagles super fan either, but they were always on the radio for many years, so part of the sound track to my life, probably yours too. I just watched about a month ago a documentary ot the Eagles on netflix "The History of the Eagles" I really enjoyed it, Those guys really had some talent. RIP Frey

Yes definitely.

We've had it in queue in My List for a while. I will probably watch it sooner now than I would have.

I saw the Eagles way back when they still wore t-shirts and blue jeans on stage. They were pretty good. I'm afraid we are soon going to start losing lots of our guitar heroes from back in the day. It's already started. Gary

I was still in the beer business when they came through here on the Hell Freezes Over tour. Got to spend a few minutes backstage with them, good guys. Gary's right, I think, sadly, we're going to lose quite a few greats rather quickly. Tony
