Rob has passed on these, so @Foot Patrol if you want them, they are yours. I'll get an end shot of them for you right now.

All of the elk antlers are sold for now and all payments have been made. Thanks guys.
Now to cut up the last of the deer sheds.

Allan, deer sheds are usually more solid in the center, is that correct? I would be interested in some deer antler.

Greg, I think because of the size there is less of the airy center, so yes I'd say they are more solid.
@Robert Uresk had asked me to post some pics for him, but if he passes you'll be the next in line for them.

Pen blank size stuff is what I am after, so if they are a little porus in the center that's ok as they will be drilled out anyway.

I could probably get you what you wanted if Alan doesn't have it. A friend cuts literally tons of it. He sells some huge sets for taxidermy and then some for chandeliers but most goes for dog chews. I am not positive but I think he sells it by the pound but I may have that part wrong. You are referring to the base's of the antlers, right? What are your specs and I can check what he has and at what pricing.

I'm out of antler right now and can't even guess when I'll be out riding again.

Thanks Allan and John

I gave him a call. He said he does save those and has some around right now, but someone had cleaned him out a couple weeks ago, so not a huge amount right now. For rosettes from larger mature bull sheds he gets $6-$8 each. If that interests you send a pm and I can send you his telephone number. If he doesn't want to send or fiddle with small amounts, I can get them and relay them. He's just a couple miles away.
