Last week sucked greatly— Flu A came for a visit. Knocked me down… hard. Had never coughed so much in my life— made feel like I’d done 100’s of situps. Yes I had the shot & my diagnosis came too late for tamiflu to help. Cost me days of work— that almost never happens, better now.
I’d had to “retire” a couple of old rouging gouges, they were old HSS and had gotten short, making sharpening an adventure. SWMBO suggested going to big city to get replacement(s)— she’s a keeper!!
Had decided a while back that I really prefer full sized long handled tools- Rockler didn’t disappoint!
Got a new Sorby 1 1/4 roughing gouge AND my hand wouldn’t let go of the Ellsworth bowl gouge. Little pricy,…. But I’ve been a good boy.
They’ll get broken in soon.
