Nicely done Curt.
Do you have a dust collector? I hook up a long hose to mine when I'm carving so its noise stays in the garage while I carve peacefully in my shop. All i hear is the slight whooshing noise of the dust and chips going down the chute....
I have Shop Vac units attached to the disc sanders, band saws, drill press and thickness sander. The problem I run into is when I'm checkering. I wear a magnification visor so I can see the individual lines when I'm cutting them. That requires very close work which puts my face very near the grip panel when cutting the lines when laying out the pattern. I've ordered a bench top vacuum that offers some help but it doesn't get it all. You can see that blue mesh unit on the bench. Bench.jpg Fortunately, ebony is the only wood that causes that particular problem........so far. LOL
