bold, italic, links, etc., grayed out?

I'm unable to use any of the tool buttons because the entire bar is grayed-out, like this:

I only noticed it today, but it might have been this way for a while. Any ideas?

You need to touch/click the far right side of the bar. The setting icon. Then it will show up.

Aha! Thank you :cool: (It was grayed out, I didn't even see there was a cog-wheel there)
