I’m looking for Canarywood Burl and curious if anyone on here has any or can point me in the right direction.

This is the closest I could find to having a little bit of Burl figure. On eBay

That looks more like monkey pod than canary wood

I know some species are more likely to grow burls than others. I've never seen a canary wood burl before. I imagine it would be gorgeous if one exists.

Yea, good point. This one doesn’t look as yellow as most Canarywood does, but I figured it might be due to oxidation and darkened over time.

They definitely vary in color from tree to tree. I was more referring to the grain pattern looking like monkey pod. But I've also never seen canary with sapwood so that could be throwing me off.

I would most interested in pics if you do find some, but burls are hard to carve and that is all I’m currently doing while I got rid of most of my old powertools. (One after the other my bandsaw, table saw, jointer/planer and lathe gave up and were unusable)
