As of this morning 06/12/2020 I cannot log into my account using Internet Explorer?

I had to use Opera to open the Wood Barter website and then log into my account.

Is there some kind of issue that will be fixed or is this the new "norm", have the Computer Nerds struck again????

Have a great day,
ThomasT

How old is your computer? More and more updates are coming to make connections safer, and older protocols and ciphers are no longer supported or considered secure.

Hello Matt,

The computer is about 6-years old with all the latest updates. I logged onto the Forum yesterday with no problem using IE as normal. No matter what I tried with IE just kept getting the error message. I even empty my cache and then rebooted but no joy.

Have a great day,
ThomasT

Hey again,

This is what I get when I try to log on ( see below ) but, all three (3) of those settings are already turned ON.

This page can’t be displayed
Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://woodbarter.com again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.

I am using Windows 7 Professional.

I just tried another computer that is only 2 years old with same OS and got the same message.

The computer is not relevant, it is the OS you are using. Windows 7 is End Of Life and no longer supported by Microsoft.

Excellent, looks like a few additional ciphers are required for legacy IE support.
