changing passwords

When I switched my favorites from internet explorer to foxfire I lost all my passwords.

When I went back to internet explorer and tried to log on this site it said I had used the wrong password. So I said I forgot my password and after several tries I was able to log on with a temporary password. Now when I try to change that to one I can remember it asks for my current password and then what I want to change it to (two times).

I used the temporary password that got me in right now as the old password but it says it doesn't recogonize it.

Help?

Since I tagged them, one of them will see that, so when they log in and check their "alerts" it will show up there.
They are not online at the moment.....
