Cherry box redo

After yesterdays explosion I decided to try again! Made it to the finish this time.
2 1/2 by 2 1/2 finished with Walnut oil.

Was the previous one cherry as well? Just thinking of the conversation on another thread about how cherry is prone to ringshake.

Yes. I read that one too. These were both cherry. Two different trees though.
