I am looking for dry platter blanks that are at least 15" x 2" or larger in Walnut or other dark woods. Cherry will be good too.

Just off the top. Here's 4 different walnut (14×2) and a cherry (15 3/4×2 1/2) These were cut last summer but don't know exact MC. Phone doesn't take great pics inside my trailer. Don't hold that against me lol

Consider gluing two boards together to get to a 15" width. Or accent with a contrasting wood (like what's done for cutting boards) to make a nice looking platter.
