Both pieces were reportedly cut nearly a decade ago and air dried since then. None of the drying defects appear to go very deep. The colors and grain should really pop with a fresh cut. The reds and oranges are still visible despite the oxidation that's taken place over the years.

I'd consider trades for nicely figured woods that are at least 1.375" thick and 13"L or more.

Square is 3.625 x 3.75 x 36.625"= approximately 3.5 BF and has a little checking on one face and a small split. I'd like to get $125 (TRADED offline) plus actual shipping for this one.

Plank is 2 x 5 x 36" = approximately 2.5 BF and has a little split on one end. I'd like to get $88 for this plus whatever shipping charges are. I'd be willing to cut to fit a large flat rate game box. Price would be $105 (SOLD) shipped this way.

Side 1 split - only the outside split appears to go any distance.

Split on outside edge goes a few inches, but the rest appear to be shallow.

Payment received. I cut the piece up so that it would fit in a flat rate box like we discussed.
I hope you post some pictures once you start to work it.

Check out the end grain- it is always fun to see what is hidden underneath!
Fresh cut ends. Looks like it'll have a nice variety of colors and some interesting figure as well. Now I'm wishing I kept it!
