Not really wood, but part of a tree????
I was looking for some fragrant desert sage leaves for adding into a sage scented homemade soap. Maybe a flat rate padded envelope packed tight? No need for it to look nice as I will break it up to extract the scent into the base oil, so the tighter it's packed works for me. The more fragrant the better. Hopei t's not too much work for the desert dwellers.
Can trade for finished soap when done, or pay cash. Let me know.
Also gonna try to do a red cedar one with cedar dust for "exfoliating".

Not really sure the species name beyond sage or desert sage, sagebrush? Photos from off the web.
Basically the whole end part of the plant, like what would be used for sage smudge bundles for incense and things.

we call most everything scrubby bush wise out here sage brush, i know however doing so is like how trees in the south are called pine. i'll see what i can find, but i think in nevada most of that plant habitat is north of here(las vegas)

Hmm purple/blue flowers?
That may be one variety that will work. Should be able to ell by rubbing some leaves between fingers and seeing if you get a nice strong sage smell or not.

Oh, hmmm not sure which is best. Probably the better medicinal variety? Which I guess is the wild one?

@vegas urban lumber I did a bit further digging and found a post that referenced Salvia dorrii as the species used. Says it's a smallish bush that only gets a few feet tall and wide?
Think you could round up a nice packed envelope full of the the end stem portions full of leaves?
