Hey all,

Recently a friend of mines wife passed kind of suddenly. I brought up the idea of turning an urn for him and his mother in law. They requested red cedar if it was possible. So I am looking for a couple of decent sized pieces of red cedar. I think 8-10” on width and thickness, and possibly 12-14” long would be sufficient, hopefully with no pith. Seasoned would be amazing. I know it’s a lot to ask, just seeing if it’s possible. Thanks

Wish I had some. Completely out right now. I know someone on here has some. Just don't have time to look and see to tag them. In the middle of canning cowboy candy

I have some in the yard. Seasoned Not dried. I haven't cut it into chunks or anything yet. That will take about a 20 to 24 inch trunk to get 8 to 10 inches square with no pith. I think I may have that. I am not home at the moment. Some of my larger chunks are pecky in the center .
