@Sprung - Uhmmm... Matt close your eyes when passing those posts with pictures above! You might forget you were supposed to wait for the wife to go to bed, errr... I mean let you get done with the honey-do list, and start negotiating prematurely while drooling all over your keyboard!

Nah, my wife's cool with it, lol. I had actually mentioned a couple months or so ago that I wanted to see about doing a trade with a knife maker sometime for another knife. No issues with her - not even a fake "Go for it" where the tone says you shouldn't!

I really was working on some honey-do stuff! (And today as well - but I also got into the shop for a good chunk of the afternoon.)

Rich - the knife is gorgeous! My only observation is that it got upstaged by that sheath :good2:.
What would it take to get you to do a tutorial on that leather carving process in the classroom?

@NYWoodturner I did not do this sheath. I had it made by a saddlemaker friend of mine. He does all of our fancier sheaths. I will do a go pro video next time I'm over there if he will let me haha. A sheath like this one costs between 65-100$ depending on size.

Got my knife in the mail over the weekend and it is so much better in person. @therichinc did a fantastic job making this for me. And...it...is...sharp!

Thank your so much!

I'm not as good at carving/tooling as that sheath, but would be happy to show the process over there if anyone is interested.
