@pinky asked if I had a Claro bowl blank . Rough cut taper 4 1/2 - 5 1/4 and just shy of 12" square . Has 1 1/2" long check on the darker face . It has some Burl in it and from the end grain you can see it will have some nice color variations as you get into it. Let me know.

Here's the other piece any I took pic of check it has almost center on one end . First two pics are front n back the next two are the sides

Here is the piece I would cut from. It measures 20 x 16 x 10. It is dry. I have had this 8 -10 years. You can still see the chain saw marks but you should be able to see what it is about.

Cut a piece off the face of the burl. Will pretty much fill a mfrb. Not the cleanest cut off the bandsaw. Need to spend 20 minutes cleaning the pitch build up from cutting wet wood. Should be able to see what you would be getting. Let me know if you likey.
