Jay - I can stabilize up to 7" for you, but you would rough turn it first. I don't think I have the power to pull through that chunk. (I know I don't). If you want to rough turn to just under 7", I can stabilize it and send it back with that Sumac that is embarrassingly still sitting in my shop...

I have some spalted maple pot blanks 4x4x1 and some oak burl blanks 2x2x8-11 and some sinker gum blanks 1.5x1.5x12. I have never turned stabilize wood but these items are needing it. I turned some of the pots but they were just a little punky.
