this is a good old American Walnut gunstock with some decent crotch feather that runs into both sides. the wood is solid. Some small defects show some filler if you look close. The stock is just 12" long....13" measured diagonally.
I see some pistol grips in there...some pot calls maybe, of even could be used as a gunstock for a child-size gun.

It's been in my shop begging for me to have that light of inspiration come on....doesn't look like it's gonna happen. So, I'd like to trade it for something I can use.

I could possibly use it for my grandson. What would you like in return?

I'd like: a chunk or a block, a peppermill blank, I dunno....what would you offer?

I will go to my shop and look to see what might interest you. If you are a turkey hunter I could make you a turkey call. If not I will go see and post pics of some different woods.

I have a chunk of chilean tineo. It is covered in wax so its hard to see the beauty of this wood. But it is 5x6x3 . Would you like this?
