well that firewood pile just got a repreave dug a few of those out of the woods and bandsawed them didnt notice the waves before. it sure is purty and to think i burned a few of those a couple years a go :dash2::dash2::dash2:.:fool::fool::fool: there all solid and hard sealed in anchor seal after pcs. still have the log layin there to big for my saw ill think of somthing. willing to part with some for some turnings vases /hollow forms etc. they vary in sizes all 3x3 wide the book match pair is 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 thick by 11 in long. some have real nice curl in them . have a big peice with waves wouldnt fit in my saw. got to get some duck calls out of this stuff yep. let me know if anyones interested. duckman

will check roy the log it came off been laying out back next to the logs there bigger but with pith . have this peices 7 1/2 with crotch the crotch is 12 across at its widest. has lots of waves in bend should be awsome inside. batterys dead on cam ill get pics in awhile dave

Pith not a problem as long it solid an sealed :lolol::lolol::lolol: I got this Idea an its not going away :dash2::dash2::dash2: If it works out right it will go to the World Trade Fair next year if I dont get placed within the top 10 this year

[attachment=9116]ok roy theres 12 ft of hard log its 9 1/2 wide at the top 11 1/2 at the bottom. theres a nice crotch up top. should be special inside. found the other main branch in there too five or six nice wavy spots. wish i would have seen this one before the stumps all wavy. ill get it all out to the barn this week--- dave

hey mike got some thicker stuff layin out back what size you lookin for.

For pots need 1 in thick by 4 sq or stock 4 in wide however thick could resaw if not completely dry need little extra for shrinkage
