HRB Sierra twist pen for trade, not a photographer but this is a stunning HRB twist pen. Looking for interesting wood in trade.

Pen blanks, knife blocks, bowl blanks etc.

I am very flexible on trades, just looking to add to my wood inventory.

I just turned a HRB Sierra myself! Stunning wood, I'm starting to like that stuff more than amboyna which is my favorite!!

On a side note, I have a chunk of that mango burl that the Rebuilds are offering. Mine was stabelized by BG. Its also a stunning wood!!

I am big fan of Amboyna Burl myself, I love the way it takes a finish & freshens the air in wood shop. I am growing to love the HRB & now the Cocobolo burl as well. I just did a ring out of the cocobolo burl & man it is amazing stuff. I can't capture the beauty in picture no mater how hard I try. Guess I need to get good camera & lighting.

Please post that mango when you get it turned I have not seen it in stabilized and turned form yet.

I definately will. I havnt turned any of it yet but will be soon. It looks incredible in raw form so it should be stunning on a pen!!

They look bigger than 1/4 to 1/2" long... Pretty stuff though!

The one in picture one looks a little too far gone for me as I do not have a way of doing any reliable castings resins yet. just send me the one in picture 2 & some assorted burl caps or scraps as long as they are at least 3/4" square or bigger I can use them for small projects.

The pen came and what a sweet pen it is. I now have a new favorite pen. So I had to find Bill that mango burl even though he said dont worry send something else. here it is Bill
