@keepanionme and I have been talking about a trade of blanks for finished mechanical pencils. The 8 blanks on the left are for the trade of the 2 on the right being made into pencils. My 2 are marked "norm's pencil," so you can distinguish them. Lol

Those look great! I have a picture of a pencil I use here at work. It's a piece of cocobolo that is pretty orange in color with the nice black grain. This might give you an idea on what the platinum finish will look like with your pieces.

That rengas should have about the same color. Looks great!
I got the shipment yesterday, Norm. I have the barrels on both blanks turned, now just have to finish them. That rengas looks amazing! You'll definitely be pleased.

The rengas didn't seem to take the ca to well, so I used a friction finish. Both turned out very well.
I'll ship them out on Tuesday.

I think Kelvin said he was having trouble with the finish on the rengas razor I wanted as well. Something to note, I think.
