So today, I realized why I never used this system. The turn knobs have the thread all worn out on one side or they came like that since they all look the same and lack wear marks. I did not buy this new but second hand. Can anyone use the other parts? I have 1 game board box left and could put it in there and pack with wood peanuts. Or keep the two longer all-thread bars and put the rest into a medium flat rate box. Prefer option #2.

I see on ebay replacement knobs for $3 a piece.

What would the price with shipping be for this if you dropped it in a small box or padded envelope? I may not be guessing size correctly, it may require the mfrb, I am just guessing size.
The all thread is available at the hardware store so it isn't a huge thing for most folks, I doubt. I know it isn't to me.

I think the hardware would fit in a padded flatrate envelop....just not with most of the all thread. I could for sure get the hardware in a medium box minus the longest all-thread but would need to know what kind of wood to pack around it. Missing any particular wood? Price, well, that would be shipping plus whatever you think the balance should be. Do I still owe you anything for wood you sent Paul and I? Got any new natives to trade?

I am not owed any wood or cash from previous trades. All were complete to my knowledge...
As far as wood that I am missing... Wouldn't know. Got a pretty big pile here. Natives to trade... Probably nothing you havent gotten a piece out of.
You got honeysuckle, American Chestnut, red oak, white oak, haven't gotten into any off brand white oaks. Still got the list in the back of my mind. Unless you got a need for domestic red plum or some such. I am still trying to weasel a piece of hazel alder out of my dad... He has a bad habit of trimming them too small to be useful.

A bag in a bag containing a clamping system mysteriously arrived in the wilds of Tennessee. A little worse for the wear but complete. The double bagging seems to have done the trick. Will try to see if the postal carrier system has the same success returning.

Thank you Frank, Mr. Jackson arrived today. Think we will have some pizza in his honor.
