Here is another group of walnut. If I do this right the measurements should correspond to the wood-otherwise-you guys and gals get to make fun of puter skills or lack of...:dash2: I will trade or sell. If you want more pictures please ask. Some of the sap wood here has some very crazy grain with a lot of depth. Roy has first choice on thick pieces- but there are much more than he needs.3/4" 38x19"-8", 26"x7.5",19"x5.5", and 28"x5" 1 7/8" 28"x10"-5", 25"x12", 36"x13" 2"x19"x96" 3"x96"x4 7/8", 47"x4 3/4x2 3/4, 95"x4 5/8" x 3" The 2' and 2 8' 3" are not planed. Everthing else is skip planed. Enjoy

Kevin, You have a 2- 13" pieces of the last one you have pictured coming in mail. I think there are 2 13" x 12" of the top one also, you will be able to see in person-touch feel -get completly addicted!!! :yipee: :sarcastic: The thick ones-might be roy's but I am working on other possibilities for him. The 2" by 96" x 19"=25 bd' -how do we get that to you?

If I thought I was confused before, I am thoroughly flummoxed now. Are you saying that some of these pieces have already been cut up, and are you also saying that some of these pieces being offered for trade are actually no longer available? Forgive me if I'm a little slow here but truly I am not following you - it's probably just me.

As far as getting addicted I don't need to touch it I already kn ow what it looks like and feels like I have milled thousands and thousands of BF of walnut. i'm just trying to figure out what you have that is actually available. The 8' x 19 x 8/4 board can be shipped UPS or fedex but I don't need it to be 8' long so chopped in half would work.

As to the other pieces, I would not be able to use small pieces from several different boards, I was hoping to get somewhere around 100BF. I was thinking if you had 2500BF that would be doable but if not that's cool too.

None of the boards pictured today are sold or spoken for. I do not know if I have a hundred bd ft of curly but i have matching 8 or 9-1 inch rough cut boards(same tree and I think sequenced) to the 19" x 8' x 2 pictured above ( that board has figure but not as much as previous pictured that went to Roy) If I have misunderstood do not worry about package just keep it.

Not so fast bucko. :stop:

If you sent me a box there's no way you're going to deprive me of the satisfaction of sending you one in return. :yipee:

I will not be denied! :drinks:

Lonestar, I wish I knew the answer to your question- I do not know. I bought 4 batches of rough walnut 600, 400, 500, and 1500 ft. 2 were from the same person and one pile is buried. I unloaded and stacked it. I planed some very nice perfectly straight grained boards today with light brown sapwood. Also planed some with lots of curl and white curly sapwood. there are a couple boards that I won't put in planer-will use the sander on them they are so crazy grained I am not sure how to plane. It is like christmas-some I can predict and some are suprise. What do you need. My goal is to get a few different special chunks of wood for my own use and enough money to buy another stack- not that I need one. Tell me what you need or want.........

Roy, that is easy-done deal- what do you think will work for shipping-USPS or? You don't like any white? What the hell I don't get the whole bird. :cray: :dash2: :hang1: :yipee: Just kidding you know.

Hey Mike, I'm most interested in the super curly stuff like Kevin posted a pic of.
Take care of him first, but if you have any left over my finished pieces will be approx. 12" X 6" X 3/4" thick. So, any super curly pieces you find that size and bigger I'd be interested in. Really looking for pieces covered in that curly pattern throughout.
I'll buy as much of it as Kevin doesnt need and my meager budget allows :nyam2:

Lone star, I do not see that being a problem. 13.5"x 5"x 12" USPS I think is about $13 for shipping. I am sure there will be pieces that size. To fill box. I need to settle up with coug and figure out Kevin and one other person that has not got back to me. Then I will take care of you tomorrow or monday.

Been a long day gone :greeting::dash2:

Roy, You are very welcome- I told you I wanted the whole bird and now I got it.:yipee:

Hey Mike,

If you have any of that beautiful walnut left, i'm in need of a couple of boards, maybe 1" thick, about 50" x 8 or 10" wide. i need the darker stuff though. I don't have anything good for trade atm, so if you would be so kind as to price me out what i'm looking for, i'd appreciate it. If you don't have any left, thanks anyway, my loss for for being a late arrival.

John
