Here are 5 sequenced Ziricote thinstocks that were originally intended for guitar back sets. Unfortunetly they ended up splitting and are no longer usable for their intended purpose. But they have some exceptional grain patterns that will catch anyone's eye and are suitable for smaller projects such as jewelry box veneer, inlay, etc, etc. It's a shame they were scheduled to be extremely high end guitar sets, but sometimes resaw efforts don't go as planned. As for measurents, these are all 1/8'' thick minimum, 10'' wide on one end and 5'' wide on the other and then 25'' on the lengths.

See attached pics that show the base splits that doomed each of these beauties for their original purpose.

I'd enjoy something nice in return - wrinkled board or burl, etc - please let me know what you have.

Best Regards,

Ivan

If it wasn't thins I'd be scrambling to post some pics of something to offer. I doubt you'll have any trouble finding some takers though nice stuff Ivan thanks for posting it.

Thanks guys,

Yeah, too bad they cracked at the base, and I had luthiers lining up for the board blank before cutting into it (sigh) Sometimes this happens - board tension getting released during a slice can be unpredictable to say the least - but she's still usable, just for a different project now, right? - I'd have to hang my head in shame if I tried to offer it to my luthiers now - could still get a firefly ukelele set out of it but I don't really mess with those (yet anyway lol)

Hey Kev, can you fix my signature url like you mentioned? Thanks!

Hey I just realized I didn't match up the sets correctly - that's why the edge patterns aren't mathing up perfectly in the pics - but they do match identical if you switch them around - They are all sequenced and cut with a thin kerf blade and measure a fat 1/8'' on the thickness

Ivan I made it live, and also tried to match the color of the link to the color of the text on your landing page as best I could. Let me know if you want a different color but that's the one I would have picked for myself.

This Trade Opportunity is Closed

Hi All,

Canceling trade opportunity on this thin stock - just got an order for a bunch of headplates so this material is being re-allocated to the effort ;^)

Thanks!
