The result of not staying focused on the work , I 'll do my best to not let it happen again although it is not the worst I've had by a long shot.

only mine required the whole nail to be removed (one of the most squeemish things youve ever seen) and micro surgury to the nail bed!... yay!! :yipee:

:scare3: Ya; that was a close one, sorry to see that happen, but like you say, lucky it wasnt worse. Thanks for bringing us the reminder
 
I like to look but I hate seeing the pictures. Makes me cringe a bit! Glad it wasn't worse!
 
Most master carpenters do not have all there fingers! So shade you are still learning. One of the reasons why I do not watch a lot of home improvement shows on TV the guys on camera never have busted black finger nails or pieces of duck tape on their cuts on their hands. Anybody who actually works on anything always has at least 3-4 cuts, missing finger nails or at a minimum at least 1 is black nail from being smashed. I current have all my nails and about 3 cuts to the hands- most of the time I don't know I have been cut until I spot blood on me.
