He doesn’t use plastics much. I do. I’ll drag the bottom all day. Lol. We may get into that.Any reason to not give a try at soft plastics?

Grrrrrrrr. If they do, he has a piece on his dresser that he can use. But the little creep is tighter than anybody I’ve ever met. He has $2,000,000 under his mattressI hear the bass LOVE curly koa!
Maybe you'd be better off investing in casting and knot tying lessons? We have watched videos but I’m always looking for somebody to ask certain questions as we go along. If we have some mistakes. We will probably lean towards wooden lures but resin isn’t out of the questions. I’ve spent $10,000,000,000,000 already on lures for him. Hate to take him to academy or Walmart anymore. Lol
He already mastered those by the time he was 3. Lol. He was in my shop tonight finding wood he wants to use. He doesn’t understand yet that Amboyna burl is not going to be used to catch a bass. Lol. I hear him in his room watching fishing videosMaybe you'd be better off investing in casting and knot tying lessons?
I’ll make sure to screen all of his incoming mail but I don’t have any ck or ycb.Amboyna is better for crappie, bass like CK and YCB. I'll send him some instructions on what woods he should look for in your shop.
That fbe should do for painted popper lures. It floats nicely...
Oh yeah! Lots of good fishing wood in there! HRB and DIW for bottom fishing (catfish love both). Curly/burly maples and walnuts work for bass until you can get him some Koa. Bream love redwood burls - well, pretty much any burl. Heck, I even see some good baits for alligator gar in that pile. Just tell him to grab that entire section of wood and set it aside.
