Ok, what is it. I've held onto it saying it would be a great push handle for the tablesaw and jointer, AND have yet to use it. It has L.F.&C. New Britain Connecticut USA on it. They ran from 1865-1965. Thing has rubber bumpers so figure closer to 1965. Has a recess in the square section like maybe a carrying strap clamped on....

Guessing it's the base to a meat grinder. Clamps down to a table top, and the rubber bumpers would protect the table top and side from marring.

Thanks Karl,

Only ever used the table clamped style. Now, where to unload the base I have, clearly not used much considering paint condition.
