From the "Mountain Mama"

[Customgripper]

Black Cherry harvested from the mountains of West Virginia, featuring hand cut checkering at 18 lpi. Made this set for a native "Mountaineer" in that state. This Black Cherry is much harder than I had imagined it would be. But, it cut nice clean, crisp lines, and was easy to work with. The client requested diamonds a little bit larger than the traditional double diamonds, but then again, so did my wife. And, truth be told, I like'em better than the traditional size myself.

Great for now. Trying to crank out a lot of different things in the workshop, and stay organized at the same time. Sometimes I’m sure I spend more time organizing than in production! Chuck
