I have a customer request that I make her a bowl made with Italian olive burl.

how large of a piece do you need?

It can be taller piece but I'm making her a 10 inch bowl. Personally I think pieces with a lot character turn out nice.
so you need at least 10x10x5 1/2
or a blank the size of a LFRbox

No I am incorporating resin the bowl blank in total will be that so 60% burl with live edge. With my limited abilities I have used wedge shapes around the perimeter with the resin filling in the voidz can I use a scrap block to fill the middle
