Lidded hollow form

Chuck @Nature Man, suggested I post some work. The lid is magnolia and the body is London plane sycamore. The finish is Doctor’s Woodshop Pens Plus. Friend Troy schooled me on mitigating a crack and applying the finish. It has been years since I’ve used friction polish. Approximately 10” X 6”.

Most impressive. Are there more pics of the finished product? I’m looking for those ray flakes which should be quite prominent. It’s one of my favourite features of wood.
