Thanks Mark. Anytime you would like more pen blanks , such as cuban mahogany , let me know Did you notice they are cut cross grain and one end is spalted

The grain and the spalted ends look great, I'm sure they will result in a great project. I'll keep these in mind as I'm making my list of projects and keep watch - thanks!

I have plenty more of the cuban mahogany . The tree was cut down in southern florida because a fire station was built on the site. I have two large logs about 12 inch in diameter x 16 inches . The spalting only appears in the sapwood part of the logs.
