Was wondering if there is any reason that a PVC pipe could not be used in a pipe clamp fixture. Any thoughts? Was thinking of fixtures like at the link below. Chuck

I would be concerned with it bending with the clamp pressure. And also the clutches would dig into the pvc. It even does that in metal pipe, I think it would be far worse.in plastic.

Agree with Greg. Think it would be a waste to try. If you are looking for some that are more light weight, get some 1/2" clamps. I've got a few 1/2" sets using two foot long pipe that I use for smaller projects.
