Looking for red oak boards. Kiln dry. Rough or skip sawn is fine. Surfaced is also okay. Don't need a lot but 4/4 rough and 6 to 8 inches wide. Minimum 12 inch in length. Total 2 to 3 bf is fine but will take whatever.

Thanks

Double check prices with shipping against your local lowes or home depot. That shipping will run the price nearly into exotic Lumber price ranges. That requires a lfrb. Your mfrb side load won't hold 3 board feet in 6 inch. It will only clear 11.something on width. 13.something on length and your 4/4 means 3 layers not over 3and 3/8 thickness total. If you are 8 inches wide you will get right at 2 board feet.
where I live we have 3 or more sellers of kd oak at very reasonable rates.. I also have a few cabinet makers that I might get kd oak from. I don't kiln so that would put me out anyhow.
@gvwp or @Flacer22 may have some. There are others, just can't think of their handles at the moment.

Good points. May need to reconsider the approach.
