Henry, using a 2” bit I took light cuts, maybe an inch (half the bit diameter) and 1/16 to 1/8 deep depending on how off the slab was. Then made 2 or 3 passes, lowering the bit. Probably no more than 10-15 minutes per side once it was cleated down so it would not move.
It will require sanding but that shouldn’t take long.
It does make a heck of a mess, so if there is anyway to do it outside, that’s my recommendation. It will fill the shop vac in no time.
