Rules discussion

Our own Don from what he told me used to work at “The Pink Palace”. He had some old koa trim from there. It is one of the oldest charming hotel in Hawaii- it bend all the rules where the new hotels would not be allowed to get that close to the water or build that high. There was a rule where you can build only to the highest tree in the property (or in the area).

Eric see if you can make it to the Iolani Palace and find time to get to Martin McArthur and Diamond Head.

Iolani Palace has some incredible examples of koa- The Grand Hall staircase is classed in koa, window trims, casings, moldings, paneling, wainscoting, etc…….you don’t want Li’l Mikey @Mike Hill near that place as he won’t be able to contain himself after seeing that much koa……

Old punt gun. We have one in our academy room at hq. Amazing the amount of animals they killed with them with one shot

I do appreciate what Greg and the guys are saying and it's not lost on my feeble old brain, and I do see that I have over utilized the sale thread at times, so I'll back up some, but I've just got so many goodies that I've just recently discovered, I just want to share them with everybody, ( and make a few bucks ).

I pretty much lost any interest in the wood when my bride was so sick and passing and it's taken the last 10 years for me to actually have any interest in anything, the wood, people, life, but I'm back and some overzealous, so please guys, forgive an old fart for having buck fever.
please keep it coming, plenty of interest here

I hate it when a page becomes nothing but people trying to sell wood. Thanks for keeping up with stuff and making this a great group of people.

I've seen a scope at our Civil War Show - almost bought it, but not one mounted on a rifle.
This one had a note with it. Used to kill a Yankee officer at 1500? Yards. I do not remember exact number but it was a very long ways.
