Is anyone really that stupid? That's got to be a joke.
On second thought there's a lot of people that stupid . . . . o_O
Oh I agree it's funny. Caption for it:
The Richard Smalls School of Chainsaw Safety . . . :D
Yup; this guy makes me understand what prompts manufacturers to write all those warnings on their tools. I met an OSHA inspector once who said he is always amazed at what lengths folks will go to injure themselves
I have a bunch of safety violation pics from OSHA inspectors. The most memorable one is a very large probably 15,000 lb capacity forklift extended all the way up probably 20'+ with a smaller forklift on the forks-it's forks extended probably 15'. There is a man basket on the little forklifts forks and 2 men changing light fixtures in some sort of building. Now you have to give them an A for ingenuity but probably not the brightest bulbs on the tree. I cannot imagine the fine but I bet it was a big one. I will have to track those down one of these days......
I don't see anything wrong with the photo... I wish more people would realize that they shouldn't reproduce.(insert Barry's ambiguity/poker face here).
Maybe he was checking if he had a hole in his piston! IF you want to see "REALLY" stupid google homemade sawmills and see the number of people running without a sign of blade containment! I know that I run an open (sort of) saw, but it is on the other side of the machine when it is operating and no is in the area where the blade slings off.Is anyone really that stupid? That's got to be a joke.
