Like most of us I'm always loaded with wood that's too good to burn and too short to be very useful. This pizza peel used up a surprising amount. I made a planer sled so I could use my planer to put a nice taper on it. Pretty quick project, I glued up the pieces yesterday evening and made the sled and finished it this morning. I will probably do a few more, I've got plenty of wood. The next ones should go pretty fast now that I have a pattern and the planer sled. Definitely a worthwhile project! Looks great! Always need to find projects that use smaller pieces of lumber! Chuck
