Wine bottle holders from Red Cumaru, this is before sanding & sealing but they turned out good & don't take too terribly long to make once you get all your tools set up for making multiples.

Thanks for that little diagram! I will definitely have to try a few of these. The guys at my woodshop throw away pieces this size all the time and have been thinking of something essays to make for gifts, etc. This is great.
