Trying to close a post . And the system does not know me!

I am trying to close a post i opened on 9/9/2024 "Bois Dark" but I dont know how I forgotten how ,
and the system send me a note saying we cannot find a Michael Lyle or M Lyle?

what to do?

Have you tried to take the space out so that it matches your user name?

I've never closed a post so not sure if the answer.

Is there a need to "close" a post? If no one posts in the thread it simply recedes from sight and disappears.

You could make a post or edit that states that the purpose of the post has been fulfilled.

It's done.
Just go here and click the drop down and you see the "edit thread"? Choose it and type closed or ended and save.
