Hey folks, I just joined. Many of you may already know me. I am Curtis O. Seebeck, owner of TurnTex Woodworks. I am an avid wood turner, woodworker, sawmill owner, and all around Central Texas Native wood enthusiast. I make turning stock from Native Texas wood cast with resin in a process that I came up with called "Worthless Wood" that has since been copied by many. I also came up with a method for using prickly pear cactus for blanks and I sell a professional quality stabilizing resin and vacuum chamber for the small shop! I am not here to sell my stuff but rather to answer questions regarding things I may know a bit about!

Curtis I'm glad you joined, and please don't be bashful about selling. I invite you to place your free ad in the classifieds section. I set this site up so woodworkers at every level, hobbyist to professionals, could have a place to buy sell & trade their wood, woodwork creations, and their wood-related products free of charge.

So please, get an ad up I know you're just dying to get even further behind! :pleasantry: :rofl2:

Seriously, jump in as deep as you want you won't find any resistance at this site.

Welcome. :hi:

Welcome to Woodbarter, Curtis. I'm pretty new here myself but I love this site. I think it's doubled in membership in just the last few weeks.

I've seen the positive results of your equipment, processes, and friendly service over the past year and I'm glad you'll be sharing some of your knowledge. Now..... can you come up with a stabilizing chamber big enough for a 48" slab of........:sarcastic::good2:

Enjoy the site!
