Here is my latest project, it took a long time but they all do. I used Holly, Cherry, and Ebony.

Quilted Maple (dyed), Holly for the teeth, Ebony, Gold Leaf, and Spalted Maple Base.

I made this using a piece of Quilted Maple that I have had for about 20 years, it was the very edge of a tree so about 1.5" thick in the center and crescent-shaped. So when I finally thought of this it was perfect as there was very little wasted wood, I used Holly for the teeth and Gaboon Ebony...
