    200 year old armoire. Species?

    This peice was recently gifted to my family. It has a rich history having belonged to the De La Guerra family during the old Spanish days I'm Santa Barbara california. I believe it was milled and assembled in san Francisco in the late 1700's. Is it oak? I appreciate any help with ID!
