walnut

Hey everyone I'm looking for some interesting wood to cast in epoxy. I'd like to find some different stuff possibly bug eaten or cookies. I'd definitely like to find some walnut and I'm open to other stuff. Here are a picture of something I've used in the past.

Friend wants me to make him an exhibition grade stock and forearm for his shotgun. I am looking for some extraordinary Turkish Walnut Burl. Need: 3” X 3” X 14” for Forearm and 3” X 7” X 15” for stock. Basically a nice slab of 3” material (minimum 2 1/2” Thick).

I had some shells I bought years ago and decided to carve a snail for it out of some scrap Walnut. It's probably 3"-4" tall and 5"-6" long.

Got this finished up. The top is a walnut burl veneer panel. I milled the walnut. The "leaf" is zebrawood as well as the pull. The bottom and the tray are lined with leather.
