Let's see a little more of that pickup.
OK, I'll take a few pics later today and post them. It's a '79 K10 Silverado. Originally from Butt, Montana. Bought it in '86. Put in 2 engines. Right now, it starts better than my '2000 Silverado. It gets driven maybe 100 miles per year as I usually drive the 2000 because of the better gas mileage. ........... Nubs

Is that old truck still chugging along :ponder: Remember it from when you were down in Florida some years back.
Sorry @Lou Currier, that truck hasn't left Arizona since 2000.
I got my new truck then, and this has only been used when I can't get the 2000 started. The most major use the '79 has gotten was in about 2017-18 when the 2000 was parked because I needed an engine. Used it for a one week elk hunt I got drawn for, and used it for another couple weeks. Probably put a thousand miles on it at that time. .............. Nubs

When I get the pictures posted, I'll enlarge a section of the tailgate that still has the original dealership decal on it. At the time of purchase, "Butt", was what was exposed. Now one T is missing making it BUT, Montana. It's on an Aluminum trim price so the painters left it like they should.
So, Butt it is. haha ............ Nubs

hey man, I call it Butt, and several people I know from that area agrees. .......... Nubs
Silverbow county does have a reputation. Butte is but a shadow of what it was when it was a booming mining town. Homestake , the pass to the east on I90 is a cool drive and so is the drive to Helena. You miss a lot of cool places if you listen to everybody.

if the cactus were in vegas i'd buy it
Trev, if I don't get any takers before I head to SWAT, by the 20th of August, I could take it up to Vegas later this year. I'm wanting to do one more rock run one of these days, and unfortunately Vegas is in my way and I must go through it to reach Goldfield, and other places further north, like Davis Creek, ca. and Glass Buttes, Oregon. I could get out to the desert and possibly find a better looking one or two, but that will be after SWAT. It is perfectly legal to collect cactus skeletons off BLM land. Just need a permit from the state of Arizona in order to transport it. ............ Nubs

Ok folks, if @vegas urban lumber, Trev, is ok waiting until October 1st, it's his. Sale on the Saguaro ribs is done.
Now, it's my truck. Start bidding, folks. Just kidding as it's not for sale, but maybe my computer is. Damn thing will not accept pictures from my phone, and when it does, the ones I took of the beater truck are fine on the phone, but will not upload to the computer. Time to look for another one. ........ Nubs

What? Your hot! Hell, it's only 105 there right now. That's almost perfect weather. In Tucson at my area, it's 98 right now. That's kinda cool.
Ok on the ribs. We'll talk some more to see what other local stuff you might want. .............. Nubs
