Finally got some lathe time but outside in 100 degree heat. First is claro walnut with wenge coins, 4 7/8 inches diameter and a 9/16 inch opening; second is unknown wood with mango pewa and dark epoxy, 5 inches diameter.

Looks like you are continuing to explore different forms. I think that’s a great idea as you get a different perspective on each one. Every piece of wood gives you a little something different to work with.
