We've a family friend who is undergoing cancer treatment due to a long career as a firefighter. It's his 70th Birthday but didn't want to get a firefighter theme pen, without asking - I understand how one can be disillusioned and upset at such noble institutions.
They are a Godly, Patriotic family so I made this beauty instead. The blank was bought from a vendor on Etsy.
Once I got the corners rounded it turned like silk with both a 1/4'' round and square gouges. I hit it really hard with used 80 grit and it cleaned up great - no scratches or melted rings.
