6/4 Rosewood

It's an odd request, I realize, but I am in desperate need of a short piece (4 to 6") of Rosewood. I don't care which variety, as long as there is no sapwood
in it......it's sort of embarrassing why I need it, let's just say, "I need it!"

If any of you good folks could help out, let me know the price and how quickly I can get it, I would really appreciate... :help:

Here's what I need...ideally Honduran, but will take whatever looks like rosewood. Here's the dimensions. 6/4 x 2" x 4 to 6" long.....one of my customers wants 4 or 5 rosewood rings for his family....5/4 would probably work...
 
I have 8/4 Morado (AKA: Bolivian Rosewood) in the size you're looking for. It's often used as a substitute for genuine rosewoods due to its fine grain and density. Likely to be a lot cheaper than some of the genuine rosewoods if cost is a factor too. Unfortunately I'm unable to post a picture of it this evening, but I can post something tomorrow morning if you're interested and nothing else pops up that you prefer. I can have it at the post office tomorrow as well if time is of the essence.

Also, I have to ask... what is so embarrassing about rings? Am I missing something? Haha

Well, it's not really embarrassing, but I thought I had the materials to make these rings.. but all I have is 3/4. What would your price be for what you have?

Ohhh, I thought you were going to be making something embarrassing. Really had me wondering!

I hesitate to put up any firm prices yet until I have posted a picture of the actual piece, but it likely wouldn't be more than $10 plus shipping. I have a billet of the stuff to break down for various projects and I want to make sure there aren't any surprises once I get it cleaned up.
